Erasmus+: 22 new projects to promote European studies in Ukraine

    The 2019 call for proposals of the Erasmus+ programme’s Jean Monnet Actions has announced 285 project-winners from all over the world. Among the winners are 22 projects from Ukraine.

    The winners will work in the spheres of economic development, governance, regional policy, criminal policy, European values, social and economic issues of refugees and migrants, protection of information, prevention of corruption, and cyber security. The total budget of the winning projects from Ukraine is around €750,000.

    Of the 15 winning organisations from different regions of Ukraine, 12 are higher education institutions and three are non-governmental organisations. 

    ERASMUS+ is the EU programme for 2014–2020 to support international cooperation projects, partnerships, events, mobility in education, training, youth and sport, and the promotion of European Studies.

    Jean Monnet Actions programme is the part of Erasmus+ dedicated to promoting excellence in EU studies in higher education around the world. Aiming to build bridges between academics, researchers and EU policymakers, Jean Monnet Actions marks its thirtieth anniversary in 2019.
